This Consent Notice is presented when you create a realmate account. It summarizes how we process your personal information under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) so that your consent is informed. It should be read together with our full Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Where this summary and the Privacy Policy differ in detail, the Privacy Policy governs.

YOUR CONSENT: By creating an account and ticking the acknowledgment at registration, you confirm that you have read and understood this Notice and consent to realmate collecting and processing your personal information as described here and in the Privacy Policy.

SECTION 1: WHAT WE COLLECT

Account & profile data — username, name, professional role, email, and optional details such as phone number, birthday, gender, and profile photo;
Verification data — Alveo ID information and any identification document you choose to upload for approval;
Listings & activity — the listings, requirements, messages, and requests you create; and
Technical & usage data — device, log, and usage information used for security and to run the service.

SECTION 2: WHY WE PROCESS IT

To create, verify, approve, and manage your account and eligibility;
To operate Nexus, our automated matching and property-intelligence engine;
To enable connections, messaging, and notifications between verified users;
To keep the Platform secure and to prevent fraud and abuse; and
To comply with legal obligations.

SECTION 3: SHARING

Your profile and the listings you post are visible to and may be matched with other verified users — this peer-to-peer visibility is the core function of the Platform. We also share data with service providers (such as hosting, authentication, email, and push-notification providers) that process it on our behalf, and we may disclose data where required by law. SECTION 4: CLIENT DATA

If you enter another person's personal data (for example, a buyer's or seller's), you confirm that you have obtained their consent as required by the Data Privacy Act before doing so.

SECTION 5: YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to be informed, to access, to rectify, to object, to erasure or blocking, to data portability, to damages, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and some data may still be processed on another lawful basis or retained where the law requires.
