realmate is a professional network for real estate specialists. These Community Guidelines explain the standards everyone must follow. They are part of, and are enforced under, our Terms of Use; capitalized terms have the meanings given there. By using the Platform you agree to follow these Guidelines.
ZERO TOLERANCE: realmate maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Reports are reviewed and acted upon within 24 hours, and we may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Guidelines.
SECTION 1: BE PROFESSIONAL
- Treat other members with respect and act honestly and ethically in all dealings.
- Represent yourself and your professional role truthfully; do not impersonate any person or entity.
- Keep communications professional and relevant to real estate.
SECTION 2: KEEP LISTINGS ACCURATE AND AUTHORIZED
- Only post listings you are authorized to post, and ensure the property, pricing, location, unit details, availability, photos, and documents are accurate and current.
- Do not post fake, misleading, duplicate, or expired listings, or misrepresent property status.
- Do not post another person's property, photos, or documents without authority.
- You are responsible for the legality of any transaction and for your dealings with other users. realmate is a platform and is not a party to transactions between users.
SECTION 3: PROHIBITED CONTENT AND CONDUCT
You must not post, upload, transmit, or engage in content or conduct that is:
- Unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or a scam;
- Harassing, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory;
- Impersonation or use of a fake identity;
- Spam, solicitation unrelated to the Platform's purpose, or bulk unsolicited messaging;
- Malicious code, or attempts to disrupt, hack, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform;
- Infringing on intellectual-property or other third-party rights;
- A violation of privacy, including posting another person's personal data without the consent required by the Data Privacy Act of 2012;
- Manipulation of Nexus, listings, matches, or platform metrics; or
- Otherwise a breach of the Terms of Use or applicable law.
SECTION 4: RESPECT PRIVACY AND CLIENT DATA
Only share client or third-party personal information where you are authorized to do so and have obtained the consent required by law. Handle information you receive through the Platform responsibly and only for legitimate professional purposes.
SECTION 5: REPORTING AND BLOCKING
realmate provides in-app tools to report objectionable content or users and to block abusive users. If you see a violation, please report it. You can also contact us at support@realmate.ph. Reports are reviewed and acted upon within 24 hours.
SECTION 6: ENFORCEMENT
Consistent with applicable law and our policies, we may investigate suspected violations; remove or restrict content or listings; disable features; and suspend, terminate, or refuse accounts. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent removal, and we may report suspected unlawful conduct to competent Philippine authorities where appropriate. SECTION 7: CHANGES
We may update these Guidelines from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
